Claire qualified by examination in 2006 and was awarded the Adrian Spencer Memorial Prize from the Institute for achieving the highest mark in the UK Trade Mark Law and Practice Paper in the qualifying examinations.
Claire has substantial experience in the field of UK, Overseas, Community and International trade mark filing, prosecution and opposition proceedings. Claire enjoys advising on the selection and maintenance of trade marks and has a wealth of knowledge in relation to trade mark portfolio management, reviews and audits and also in respect of filing strategy advice. Claire also has particular expertise with regard to evidence review, collection and compilation and subsequent witness statement preparation.
Claire’s time is spent working with corporate clients ranging from the food, clothing, events and conferencing sectors through to magazine providers. Clients appreciate her friendly response to all matters of work, her no panic attitude and sociable nature.
Claire no longer has any spare time due to her young family, but is regularly found running around parks and children’s activity centres when away from the office and is looking forward to when the children are older so she can resume her love of attending Formula One and MotoGP races.
